Chief Jason Graber
Chief Graber stands as a pivotal leader in the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) sector, boasting an illustrious career that spans over three decades in ARFF operations at numerous major international airports. Renowned globally, his Senior Airport Fire Officer’s (SAFO) course, Command and Control program and related tool kit is a testament to his extensive experience, integrating cutting-edge tactics in ARFFS Command and Control. Beyond his teaching achievements, Chief Graber has recently presided as the Chairperson of the ARFF Working Group, and is a sought-after speaker at international conferences, reflecting his esteemed position in the field.
Mr. Stephen Milton
Emergency Response Driver Training (ERDT) are the world’s leading ARFF driver training specialists. Stephen Milton and his team have delivered internationally recognised and accredited training to more than 170 emergency service organisations in 17 countries around the world. His programs include the latest in advanced ARFF driving tactics and operations. ERDT’s courses have received SFJ Awards and FutureQuals accreditation and include the latest in theory and practical driving instruction.
Mr. Peter McMahon
Peter’s expertise is highly sought after with more than 20 years’ experience in ARFF operations, including as Assistant Chief Fire Officer (National Operations Standards Manager) where he and his team was responsible for the entire ARFF service in Australia, including 27 airport fire stations and approximately 1000 firefighters Australia-wide. Peter has trained ARFF teams in more than 20 countries worldwide, project managed the construction of several fire training schools worldwide, and also provides consultancy services to ARFFS organisations and Civil Aviation agencies. He has been a long-term Board Director of the ARFF Working Group (USA) and the International Aviation Fire Protection Association (IAFPA) and is often asked to speak at key international conferences. Peter is also a member of the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) Validation Committee (USA) and is part of a small team who have just completed writing the new Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting, 7th Edition manual, due for release in late 2024.
Mr. Trevor Rogers
Trevor Rogers, a seasoned professional with 39 years of experience in Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF), brings a rich reservoir of knowledge and skills honed across various roles, including Senior Commander. His decade-long tenure as the lead instructor for Airservices Australia’s ARFF service is distinguished by his facilitation of a diverse array of courses, ranging from entry-level recruit training to advanced Senior Airport Fire Officer programs. Since 2018, Trevor has imparted his expertise to over 3000 firefighters across numerous countries, marking a significant global impact. His dynamic training approach is tailored to boost firefighter proficiency, offering high-intensity programs that not only educate but also ignite a fire in course participants, fostering their development into competent and motivated fire service professionals.
Mr. Madhu Sudan Thapa
Madhu’s experience is thankfully rare, having attended no less than three major aircraft crashes in his career. He has a story to tell and the lessons learned from his experiences will captivate those who are privileged to attend his session.
